Christophe Sidamon-Pesson

Born in 1975.
Lives in the Queyras, in the French Alpes.
Has been taking photographs for nearly ten years, in the beginning for pleasure, now more and more seriously and professionally.
Has given some of his photos to the agency BIOS for distribution.

Is attracted above all by the wilderness, which he considers essential to the well-being of the spirit, because man is not present there.
Photographs other subjects if asked, but with less enthusiasm.
In search of a dream and an ideal; also has a particular fondness for feathers.
Above all, is trying to present impressions, sensations, not necessarily agreeable but indispensable; feelings more or less forgotten, but whose presence allows us to breathe.

Finally, makes photographs in an attempt to respond to those questions which go beyond us.

Would like to participate in preserving a future which is being lost, by creating images which induce doubt, reflection and hope.

 

A photographer who doubts continually and is perpetually unsatisfied.
